Adult Summer Camp is a guide to the growing world of summer camps and camp-style experiences designed for adults.

I created this site after attending my first adult summer camp in 2023. I went not really knowing what to expect, and came away with something I hadn't anticipated: new friendships, great memories, and the realization that the best parts of summer camp don't have to end when you're a kid.

There's something special about spending a few days with a group of people you've never met, putting aside the routines of everyday life, trying new things, being outside, staying up too late, laughing at ridiculous things, and gradually turning strangers into friends. For some people, adult camp is a chance to recreate a little of the magic they remember from childhood. For others, it's an experience they never had the chance to have.

I created Adult Summer Camp because I wanted other people to know these experiences exist.

The site is a resource for discovering camps, comparing different options, and getting a better sense of what attending camp as an adult is actually like. I'm building a directory of camps and camp-style experiences, along with detailed camp profiles, stories, photos, reviews, and experiences from people who have been there.

My hope is simple: that you'll find a camp that sounds like your kind of place, give it a try, and come home with some good stories and a few new friends.
